Mar 22,  · Hi everyone! I am a new member of this site. Nice to be on board! Question regarding Recording Customs. I’ve read that the pre-YESS/ Early YESS period (80’s-mid 90’s) was the hayday for YRC’s and yamaha drums in general.

These Yamaha’s are from the late 70’s I believe. It’s all right here: What is the condition? I thought you were stickin’ with the Luddies or going for a Spaun!? Return of the RCs! Oh, I’ll never get rid of the Luddies. I had the early version of your kit Harry, but with the single lugs. We only know what we perceive as how the drums feel under the sticks whether or not a new drum series measures up to its older iterations. It is totally understandable that the old ones feel better to play than the new ones, for a myriad of reasons. But don’t give me this “old RCs sound better than new RCs or vice versa” crap.
